1. Ikea Vittsjo Coffee Table Hack \\ I absolutely adore what Shannon over at Lilikoi Joy did with her Ikea coffee tables, I've seen a few hacks like this but not with the greek key and using handles is such an ingenious idea! It definitely looks like it cost much more than $100!
2. Ikea Tarva Dresser Hack \\ Joy over at City Farmhouse had the best idea with this unfinished $80 Tarva dresser. I figured it would be the perfect TV stand for my living room and maybe my boyfriend can work a little engineering magic on the top drawer to make it hold my Apple TV and internet router. Fingers crossed.
3. Ikea Lack Side Table Hack \\ I think this may be my favorite hack that I've found considering how cheap it is and how glamorous it ends up looking. Veronica over at My Hands Made It had such a great idea with this one! I totally would never have thought of it and now I can't wait to try it! It involves nailhead trim and two $10 lack side tables. You should totally check this one out! :)
I want my apartment to have a unique and custom feel to it without breaking the bank (or taking until my lease is up to finish). I can't wait to be living near an Ikea and I will definitely be taking advantage of that plus these ingenious hacks from other bloggers. I definitely don't want my new apartment to feel like you're walking into an Ikea showroom (even though it's probably as small as one!)
Check out some of my other favorite home decor items I've been eyeing...
Have you ever tried any Ikea hacks? Any tips?
