Styling a Skirt for Winter

I think this might be one of my favorite winter outfits! Winter time is so often marked by puffy layers and warm pants and leggings, that incorporating a skirt into your winter wardrobe (and staying warm while doing it) can be a challenge! A cozy sweater, a warm blanket scarf, and a chic pair of OTK boots make showing a little leg, dare I say, comfortable in freezing weather!

I've always loved the sleek simplicity of Coach bags and this one is no exception. This bright pre-spring bag is quickly becoming my favorite weekend purse! It's the perfect size to hold all the essentials and adds such a fun pop of color to any outfit - it's definitely making me antsy to trade in my sweaters for shorts!

These boots are my absolute favorite OTK boots I've found this season - and a perfect dupe for the Stuart Wizeman boots. Being 5' 2" and petite means that when something fits properly on me it's a cause for celebration (and purchasing it in every color). Usually when it comes to boots I've resigned myself to only buying designer - because every time I find a cute pair of affordable boots they're always HUGE in the calf. Which is why I was pleasantly surprised when I got these and found they fit perfectly! They're snug around my legs and don't fall down - even when I wear them with a skirt instead of pants.
