It's here! It's officially time to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and stock up on TONS of fall goodies! If you're a Nordstrom Card holder it means you can shop the sale NOW which is great because there's already lots things going out of stock! If you see something you want, I would definitely recommend grabbing it now because there's no guarantee of it being restocked before the price goes up in a few weeks when the sale ends.
I wanted to talk today about how you can incorporate the pieces you get from the sale into your summer wardrobe. Here in Texas fall seems a long way off - it won't be cooling off for at least another two months. Instead of having to wait to pull your goodies out of the closet, use some of the pieces you pick up to accessorize your summer wardrobe! Throwing a scarf over a flowy tank top, like I did here, is an easy and practical way to dress for those cooler summer nights. This scarf is one of my favorite finds from the Anniversary Sale, the gorgeous blue color makes it the perfect summer transition piece and it's under $15 right now!
These booties might be my new favorite shoe for fall. I actually saw them online this morning and went and grabbed them at lunch and I'm so glad I did! They are SUPER comfy - seriously - I was walking all around this area shooting photos for tonights post and they gave me no issues.
If you live in the south like me, peep toe booties are, perhaps, the perfect fall shoe. They give that cozy autumn vibe but aren't gross and sweltering when the daytime temperature rises into the 80s.
Speaking of dressing for the weather, we looked absolutely ridiculous today running around in boots and sweaters shooting outfit photos for you guys when it was effectively 100+ outside! But you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
Scarf // Tank (This tank isn't actually from the sale, but it's under $30 and such a great staple piece! I wear it with everything!) // Bag // Jeans (My jeans are actually from J.Crew, but I bought the pair I linked in another color and they are SO comfy! Instead of spending $100 on a staple pair of black jeans, the ones I've linked are under $40!) // Sunglasses // Booties
